We partner with a local oil mill to produce our hemp oil. Thanks to a gentle direct-pressing process, the full spectrum of the hemp plant is preserved in the highest quality (other compounds, such as terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, etc.), are retained). This is the major difference compared to most CBD oils on the market, which often consist of a carrier oil (e.g., flaxseed oil) and contain only pre-isolated CBD; unfortunately, the many other valuable ingredients are lost in this type of production.
Because all parts of the plant are present in their natural balance in our products, the so-called “entourage effect” occurs. The entourage effect refers to the fact that a mixture of plant compounds in its natural balance possesses greater biological activity; in other words, its bioavailability to the body is optimal, and the active ingredient is utilized more effectively than when only individual components are administered.
CBD has a positive effect on the physical and mental well-being of animals (and humans); for humans, it is already approved as a dietary supplement.
The following effects have already been scientifically proven in studies involving humans and animals: Physical: restorative, supportive, and invigorating, among others. Mental: calming, focusing, mood-lifting, among others.
CBD has been shown to have no serious side effects. Even accidental overdoses are harmless. In the event of an overdose (> 25 times the recommended dose), CBD primarily causes drowsiness, and a good night’s sleep has never hurt anyone 🙂
